Menulis dengan Hati

Dengan Nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah Lagi Maha Mengasihani..

Rasanya dah hampir 2 tahun sya tinggalkan blog ini tanpa apa-apa update. Cuba buat come back tapi nampaknya kurang berjaya. InsyaAllah, mungkin akan cuba buat come back lagi tahun ni? Hehe.

Sebenarnya semua orang boleh menulis dan bercerita. Apa-apa cerita sekali pun. Tapi biarlah setiap penulisan itu ada nilai tambah dan memberi kesan yang positif kepada orang-orang yang membacanya. Bagaimana penulisan mampu untuk menyentuh hati? Ianya bermula daripada diri penulis itu dahulu.

Seketul daging dalam diri kita iaitu raja kepada batang tubuh kita; Hati boleh diumpamakan seperti sebatang sungai. Sungai yang bersih dan jernih sudah pasti akan bisa mampu untuk mengairi kebun-kebun yang kelak akan tumbuh subur dan menghasilkan buah-buahan. Manakala sungai yang kering atau sungai yang kotor airnya pula akan bisa membinasakan kebun-kebun yang menghijau. 

Doa lah supaya Allah meneguhkan hati-hati kita...

We Won Inaugural WIEF Social Entrepreneurship Challenge, Prize worth MYR 20,000

Under the coordination, close supervision and finance from the Malaysian Academy of SMEs & Entrepreneurship Development (MASMED), UiTM, The Community Herbs of UiTM was crowned as the overall champion of the inaugural WIEF Social Entrepreneurship Challenge 2014. Represented by four students from the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, The Community Herbs emerged as the overall winner for the challenge and received RM20,000 after successfully pitched their idea for indigenous community in Kg Guntur, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. Another team, Embun was announced as the winner for fishermen’s community of Kg. Belakang Kilang, Kuala Perlis, Perlis. Embun was represented by four students from the Faculty of Accountancy.

The first stage of WIEF Social Entrepreneurship Challenge 2014 started in July 2014 with the participation of 20 teams from various Public and Private Institutions of Higher Learning in Malaysia. Four teams from UiTM participated in the first challenge. Team Enactus UiTM, The Community Herbs of the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Embun and Infinite of the Faculty of Accountancy have advanced to the Bootcamp stage. 15 teams went through a 2-day Business Plan Bootcamp where the students were comprehensively trained to further develop their business plan and later submitted the refined business plans for evaluation by the appointed assessors.

The final stage of business pitching took place on 19th January 2015 with eight teams; Enactus Unimas, UCSI University, BumbleBee Sunway & Monash University, Embun UiTM, Eugeniaes University of Nottingham Malaysia, Enactus UiTM, The Community Herbs UiTM and Growth Putra Business School UPM presented and pitched their social enterprise ideas in front of a panel of 8 judges and sponsors by persuading and arguing their cause for their respective communities. Four teams namely UCSI University for community Kg. Kalangkaman, Pulau Banggi, Sabah; Embun, UiTM for community Kg. Belakang Kilang, Kuala Perlis, Perlis; The Community Herbs, UiTM for community Kg. Guntur, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan; and Growth of UPM for community Kg. Muara Tuang, Kota Samarahan, Sarawak received their well-deserved awards of RM10,000 each as well as opportunities for project incubation. The overall winner, The Community Herbs of UiTM for community Kg. Guntur, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan also received an additional RM10,000 and a Challenge Trophy. The winning was more meaningful for MASMED and UiTM as we not only dominated the competition but also defeated other prominent public and private universities in Malaysia and received a total of RM 30,000.
